Aspen hails from Gridania, born to two Veena botanist parents. In the Black Shroud, she experienced a relatively normal if eclectic childhood in the Twelveswood alongside her twin brother, Aramis. The surname Lark comes from her great-grandsire, a Midlander man from Coerthas who achieved nobility in his lifetime and wed into her line. For all intents and purposes, Aspen is entirely Veena in appearance, though slightly smaller in stature for her kind. Despite her exceptionally holistic upbringing, Aspen possesses a natural proclivity for magitek with a special interest in Late Allagan artifacts, and she is always retrofitting her estate with the latest devices she can acquire. Unique features include nipple piercings, a navel piercing, amber eyes, and deep brunette hair.
